Peptides: what to know

Powder first, then mixed

Peptides ship as a freeze-dried (lyophilised) powder because that form stays stable in transit. Before use, the powder is mixed with bacteriostatic water, which is sold separately under Supplies. Once mixed, the vial belongs in the fridge.

Measured in units

A mixed peptide is drawn with a U-100 insulin syringe marked in units. EasyTouch 30G syringes come in bags of 10; use a fresh one every time.

How the range is grouped

What else do I need with a peptide vial?

Bacteriostatic water to mix the powder and U-100 insulin syringes to measure it. Both are under Supplies, and the product page suggests them.

Does the powder need to be cold during shipping?

No. Freeze-dried powder is stable at room temperature for the few days Xpresspost takes. Refrigerate it when it arrives, and always after mixing.

What are SM5, TZ5 and Reta?

Store names for GLP-1 class research peptides. SM5 is a GLP-1 receptor agonist, TZ5 is a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist, and Reta is a triple GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon receptor agonist.

Why do some peptides come in two sizes?

The larger vial holds more compound for a lower price per milligram. The calculator on this page shows the difference.
